Nadia Sood is a founding member and Partner of Impact Investment Partners, LLP. IIP invests in critical goods and services companies in emerging markets that deliver significant social impact at scale. Nadia was previously Executive Vice-President for South Asia at a leading international renewable energy company with $1.75 billion of assets under management. Nadia has initiated a number of private-public partnerships over the course of her career including a PPP with the UNDP to built out one of the largest commercial rural-electrification schemes in South Asia. The PPP has since electrified more than 8,000 villages.

Prior to her career within the energy sector, Nadia was a Director at Nestlé, the worlds largest food and beverage company where she was responsible for developing programs to combat child labour in the agriculture sector and for leading Nestlé's repositioning as a Nutrition Health and Wellness Company in the UK. Nadia also worked in the Office of the Secretary-General of the United Nations office in New York.

Nadia is a US Department of Education Foreign Language and Area Studies Scholar and an Astia Entrepreneur. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University as well as a Master in International Affairs from Columbia University. She has been named one of the top 25 leaders under 35 and one of the top 40 leaders under 40 by two of Norway's leading business magazines and is a frequent speaker on corporate social responsibility, social impact investing and challenges of doing business in emerging markets. Nadia is a Canadian-Indian and speaks fluent French, English and Norwegian.
