Balazs Magyar is a sustainability analyst at Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd. He joined the bank in December 2000 as a freelancer of the Sarasin Sustainable Investment department. After graduating from the economics faculty of the University of Basel in summer 2005 (Master of Science in Business and Economics), he pursued his assistance activities to the Sustainable Investment team. Starting in September 2005 he supported the portfolio management and the sustainability research. Between 2006 and 2008 he worked as a Junior Portfolio manager and managed balanced and bond mandates for institutional and private clients. In June 2008 he joined the sustainability research team where he is responsible for the analysis of the sectors energies, public financial institutions and countries.
