Robert Verdier is the Japan representative for Vigeo in Tokyo. Vigeo is a global ESG rating agency, which provides a broad range of products and services to investors seeking a sustainable and responsible performance of their investments. Robert was formerly CEO of Dexia Japan and has been working in Tokyo for most of the last 30 years, holding senior positions with financial groups - Credit Lyonnais, BNP Paribas and Dexia. He is also Non-Executive President of Planet Finance Japan, the Japanese arm of the microfinance NGO, Planet Finance. He holds an MBA from Insead.
