Stanislas Dupre is the Executive Director of Utopies, the first French CSR consultancy, founded in 1993. After 10 years in the company, Stanislas now leads the team of 20 people providing services to international companies on strategy, stakeholder engagement & innovation, product design and green building. In the last few years, Stanislas authored studies about green marketing (Talk the Walk - UNEP/Global Compact/Utopies 2005), stakeholder engagement (Critical Friends - Utopies/AccountAbility 2007) and the carbon footprint of savings products (Saving money while saving the Planet - Utopies/Centre Info/Caisse d'Epargne 2008). In 2007-08, he shaped the first methodology to calculate the GHG emissions induced by banking and insurance activities for a coalition of financial institutions and NGOs, including WWf and Friends of the Earth. It is now used by the Caisse d'Epargne group to label all their savings products and calculate their scope 3 carbon footprint. This methodology being open-source, Stanislas and the coalition are now working to broaden its use.
