Paavo Põld is a partner and co-founder of the Limestone Investment Management, an investment manager dedicated to sustainable and responsible investment in Eastern Europe. Limestone currently manages the pioneering New Europe SRI fund. Since 1997 he has held several Eastern European capital markets research related and executive positions. He has been also awarded the Euromoney Best Analyst of the year award. In 2001, after leaving Suprema Asset Management where he served as CEO, Mr Põld joined Hansabank as a portfolio manager of the second pillar pension funds helping to launch the funds and formulate their investment strategy. He later managed the investment products distribution arm of Hansabank and served as CEO of Hansa Life Insurance. From 2006 he successfully built up international distribution for Hansa equity funds. Mr. Paavo Põld obtained a BSc degree from Bentley University and Master in economics from the Tallinn University of Technology and is currently pursuing a doctors degree.
