Prior to joining the World Bank in 2000, Ivan was head of Asset-Liability Management (ALM) at the Credit Agricole. He spent most of his career with the French financial institution Caisse des Depots, holding various positions related to risk management, portfolio management and ALM. He started his career in 1990 at the Banque Nationale de Paris in the Strategy Department. Ivan Zelenko graduated from the French leading engineering school Ecole des Ponts and from the Institute for Political Studies in Paris (“Sciences-Po”). He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris Sorbonne and has published books in French about financial economics and credit risk
