Mungo Park: Chairman and Founder of Innovator Capital Limited. Mungo has over 30 years experience of international investment banking. During this time he has focused on emerging and disruptive technologies in industries such as IT, Media, Telecomms, Industrial, Environmental and all areas related to Medicine.He began his career at Prudential Bache before moving to America in the late seventies to join Alex. Brown & Sons, now part of Deutsche Bank. Following this, he was with Dillon Reid, Wertheim and Cowen & Co. Mungo has been involved in the private funding and initial public offerings and subsequent offerings of well over a hundred companies, most notably Genentech, Amgen and Biogen. Today, these companies are international leaders in their sector. In terms of experience Mungo has been involved in each of the core investment banking disciplines: origination, principal investing, trading, distribution and research in both the private and public equity markets. Additionally he has transaction experience in bridge financing, financial royalty structures, licensing and equity linked securities.Later, he was Head of Corporate Finance at Nomura International, where he founded Europe’s leading investment banking practice for the emerging technology sector. Mungo now spends the majority of his time advising and funding emerging environmental technology companies.
