Mr. Trevet is Managing Director with Innovest in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he is leading Innovest's business development on the US West Coast. Pierre totals more than12 years experience in sustainable finance and socially responsible investments. Mr. Trevet is also the Head of Innovest Carbon Finance and Cleantech practice. Between 2002 and 2005, Mr. Trevet was European Managing Director for Innovest based in Paris, where he successfully implemented Innovest's activities in continental Europe. Previously, he worked for 3 years as a Senior Analyst at Innovest New York, covering the automotive, steel, pharmaceutical and forestry sectors. In the mid-1990s, Mr. Trevet spent several years as an environmental finance analyst with Storebrand ASA, a major Norwegian insurance company. At Storebrand, he was instrumental in the creation and design of the Environmental Value Fund, the world's first major investment fund based on eco-efficiency principles. Prior to that, he has worked as an environmental management consultant in France, Norway, Hong Kong and Singapore. Mr. Trevet holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in Paris, and an M.Sc. in Energy and Environmental Management from the Norwegian School of Management, where he achieved top honors.
