Robecos CEO since 1 July 2004. From 2001, he was a member of themanagement board of Euronext N.V., and from the end of 1996 waspresident-director of Amsterdam Exchanges N.V. Previously, he wasgeneral manager of MeesPierson in London and a non-executive member ofthe London Futures and Options Market (LIFFE) board. From 2000 through2003, he was non-executive chairman of the Federation of EuropeanSecurities Exchanges (FESE) and was a member of the TabaksblatCommittee in 2003, which produced recommendations on best practices forcorporate governance in the Netherlands. Graduated in Economics at theUniversity of Groningen in 1974.
