Portfolio
Dominique Habegger majored in finance at the University of St. Gallen, before starting his career in 1996 at SAM Sustainable Asset Management, contributing to what would become the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes. In 1998, he developed a company DCF valuation model integrating ESG data as a risk factor for Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch. During five years, he led a team of seven analysts which applied and marketed this methodology to the bank’s institutional clients. Based on this experience, Dominique Habegger wrote in 2004 the "White Paper" for an EESG database, software and rating tool which led to the creation of ASSET4 (founding member). He was the architect of ASSET4's data structure as well as the functional requirements to its web-based monitoring, rating and benchmarking tool. As head of research until 2008, Dominique Habegger coordinated the work of 150 data analysts who collected data on 2'500 companies and was instrumental in selling the "assetmasterProfessional" platform. Dominique Habegger then decided to join Swiss based ESG investment and consulting firm Ethos to take the responsibility of currently more than 70 institutional clients, mainly pension funds.
