Satoshi Nimura was born in 1963 and graduated from the Agricultural Department at Meiji University. Mr Nimura relocated to Malaysia in 1989 and founded a traditional knowledge database company there in 1994. In 2000, Mr Nimura established Nimura Genetic Solutions Co., Ltd., Tokyo Japan and a wholly owned subsidiary, Nimura Genetic Solutions (M) SDN. BHD., to develop biological prospecting business. At present he lives in Malaysia and visits Japan every month.
