Ken Kobayashi, CFA, is a Senior Analyst at Tokio Marine Asset Management (TMAM) covering Japanese financial services sector. He is also Group Leader of Responsible Investment Group at TMAM in charge of ESG issues including proxy voting as well as a joint venture with Governance for Owners of U.K. in facilitating new Japanese-way relationship (engagement) investment strategies.

He has more than 20 years of investment experience, including 11 years at TMAM. Prior to joining TMAM, Ken started his professional career at the Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan (currently known as Shinsei Bank), where he spent 5 years (1994-1999) in New York managing portfolios comprised of commercial and industrial loans to North American companies as well as commitments to alternative investment opportunities including U.S. private equity funds.
