Ewoud Goudswaard (1958) is Managing Director of ASN Bank, the market leader in sustainable banking in the Netherlands. One of the first ethical banks in Europe, ASN Bank calls for a society in which sustainability is the key objective.
Prior to joining ASN Bank, Ewoud Goudswaard worked for ING Group, a leading Dutch financial institution, for more than seventeen years.
During this period he worked at ING Head Office and in several management positions in the branch network of ING Bank.
Ewoud Goudswaard holds a Masters degree in Management from the Interfaculteit Bedrijfskunde of Delft, the Netherlands, a Masters degree in Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and a Masters degree in Marketing from TIAS in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
Ewoud Goudswaard is a member of the Committee of Recommendation of the Slowlife Foundation. He is Treasurer of the Nationaal Comité 4 en 5 mei and Treasurer of Nationaal Fonds 4 en 5 mei, which are both involved in commemorating the victims of WWII and celebrating the liberation of the Netherlands at the end of WWII. In addition, Ewoud Goudswaard is a member of the Advisory Committee of Plan Nederland and of the Advisory Committee of the Club of Rome Netherlands.
He is married and has a son.
