Turan Caglayan is First Vice President and Head of Asia Department of DEG – German Investment and Development Company and as such based in Bangkok. His company belongs to the KfW banking group and is one of the leading European development finance institutions. Prior to his current position Turan held various positions within DEG enabling him accumulating a vast experience in different sectors in emerging markets with a focus on East/South-East Europe and Asia. Before joining DEG in 1992 he was among others with Deutsche Bank and Bayer, Germany.
