Description

Sustainable construction is one of the fastest growing segments of the already red hot commercial building industry. In 2007, about 5% of all new U.S. commercial construction received the U.S. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. By 2010, 10% of all new commercial construction will be sustainable, according to McGraw-Hill's. Singapore recently launched its Green Mark certification. Does investing in low energy, low water and low CO2 emission building offer benefit for the investor as well as the environment?
