Hauman has been involved in the environmental movement in Hong Kongsince 1988. From 1991 to 1993, he managed the office of Green Power, aHong Kong environmental organisation, during a period of rapid growth.He managed several environmental projects funded by UNEP from 1993 to1995. He started an eco-village with the South China AgriculturalUniversity in 1995. In 1996, he joined the business world and startedhis own software house. He joined a multinational IT company and workedin Shanghai in the year 2000. He now work in LESS, a private equityinvestment company that invest in Environmental projects in China, asBusiness Development Manager.
