Adiba is based in London and is responsible for leading and coordinatingfundraising activities relating to Africa.Adiba joined CDC Capital Partners in 1991, prior to the creation ofActis in 2004. Adiba re-established Actis' Nigeria office in late 2000and, as Director of West Africa was responsible for managing Actis'business activities in Nigeria and Ghana. She led to closure Actis'US million investment in Lagos first modern shopping mall, atransaction that won the Financial Times 2004 fDi award. Adiba alsooriginated Actis' US million investment in UAC Nigeria Plc. Duringher time with Actis, Adiba has managed investments and exits in theCaribbean and Southern Africa. Adiba is an Investment Committee memberof Capital Alliance Private Equity Limited, Nigeria, and a Director ofPersianas Limited. Prior to joining Actis, she practised commercial&corporate law. Adiba has an LLB from King's College London, a BL (Gray's Inn) and a CDip AF (ACCA).
