Amsterdam-based, Paul Hohnen is an independent consultant on sustainabledevelopment and CSR issues. A former diplomat, he has worked as aninternational civil servant, Policy Director of Greenpeace International,Strategic Director of the Global Reporting Initiative(GRI), and now asconsultant to the government, business and non-profit sectors.Paul consults, writes and speaks on a range of global sustainabledevelopment issues, with a focus on how companies can integrate these intotheir core business. An expert on international CSR codes and standards,he was recently invited by the OECD Secretariat to help compile a lst ofthe leading global CSR instruments for the G8.In addition to moderating for TBLI,Paul has facilitated a range ofhigh-level conferences, including for UNEP, UNDP, the Finnish and UK EUPresidencies, Chatham House, and for various corporates.Among his afiliations, Paul is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Institutefor International Affairs(Chatham House), a member of the SRI AdvisoryCommittee of Henderson Global Investors, a Special Adviser to the GRI, anda Senior Advisor to the UN Global Compact.
