Genio van der Schaft Managing Director Loyalis Genio van der Schaft Managing Director, Loyalis Financial Services Genio van der Schaft is managing director of Loyalis Financial Services, a 100% subsidiary of Pension Fund ABP, the Dutch pension fund for civil servants and teachers. In 1991, Genio van der Schaft started to work in the securities industry as a Management Consultant for ABP Investments. From 1992 till 1998 he was Manager Operations. Also he was responsible for selecting and managing ABP's custody- and clearing brokers network and managing ABP's securities lending arrangements. In 1998, he focused on selecting and managing external investment managers. In 1999, he was given the opportunity to establish a new line of business for ABP, Loyalis Financial Services, which offers investment management services to third party clients. Genio van der Schaft is deeply involved in SRI, especially since Loyalis Financial Services is the manager of Loyalis Global Sustainability Fund, to which ABP transferred all its SRI portfolios. Genio van der Schaft studied Business Administration and Information Management at the Dutch Open University and holds an MBA from University D'sAix-Marseille.
