Emma Howard Boyd has been actively involved in socially responsibleinvestment since joining Jupiter Asset Management in 1994. As Head ofSRI, Emma has overall responsibility for the management and futuredevelopment of Jupiter's Socially Responsible Investment business. Emma continues to head up Jupiter's Environmental Research Unit, whichanalyses the environmental and social performance of companies forJupiter's SRI funds. She is also responsible for building up Jupiter'sengagement services for institutional clients and Jupiter's UK retailfunds.Emma is Vice Chair of the UK Social Investment Forum, the UK'smembership network for socially responsible investment and was foundingchair of Eurosif, the European Sustainable and Responsible InvestmentForum, from its launch until the end of 2002. She is also a member ofthe Advisory Committees for Just Pensions and FTSE4Good.Prior to working at Jupiter, Emma specialised in corporate finance atHill Samuel and BNP. She has also worked as a researcher and campaignerfor various NGOs.
