Amanda Young is the SRI Officer at Newton Investment Management, a London-based, global investment management subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. She is responsible for the research analysis and engagement on environmental and social issues facing the companies in which Newton invests.
Amanda came to Newton from CCLA Investment Management, the specialist church and charity fund manager where she spent seven years analysing companies’ environmental, social and governance activities and performance.
Amanda has over a decade of experience as a responsible investment professional and fifteen years of financial markets experience.
Amanda is a non-executive director of UKSIF, the UK sustainable investment and finance association.
