Bob Bragar is a strategic consultant and international lawyer. He helps impact investors and practitioners develop strategies to promote growth and reduce risks, including systems to manage legal exposures.
Bob Bragar is a thought-leader, acting as chair and speaker at international conferences on inclusive finance and poverty alleviation. He is the founder of the webinar series, www.LocalVoice4Development.org, dedicated to highlighting the achievements and challenges of local leaders on microfinance and other issues, because local voices are the key to solving local problems.
Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Bob Bragar is a member of the Advisory Committee on Microfinance Institutional Governance at Acción International’s Center for Financial Inclusion. He is a member of the European Microfinance Platform, the New York Bar and District of Columbia Bar.
At Oikocredit International for 17 years as General Counsel, head of legal, and Investment Committee member, he helped build one of the world’s largest impact investment portfolios.
