Anne Barrat is an independent consultant in Corporate, Financial and Sustainability Reporting for listed companies and privately owned businesses. She spent ten years in the leading global exchange NYSE Euronext in charge of stakeholders' relation, Corporate Social Reporting and Corporate Reporting Management. In this position Anne contributed to fostering a group CSR strategy, developing CSR best practices and awareness across borders and building partnerships to promote Environment Social Government standards amongst the customers and participants, banks and listed companies, of NYSE Euronext markets. Under her leadership, NYSE Euronext started a CSR reporting and rating by non-financial analysts, and participated in the Carbon Disclosure Project. She teamed up with local and international bodies (e.g. The French Sovereign Fund CDC, the WWF, BNP Paribas) to launch Social Responsible Investment-oriented projects, such as the Low Carbon Index and the carbon trading platform Bluenext in the late 2000s.
